Praca: Mergers & Acquisition Compliance Specialist

We are looking for a new team member, who will support Aon Mergers and Acquisitions and Transaction Solutions Team (AMATS) from compliance perspective. Daily requirements relate to ongoing support in terms of business conflict of interest process with elements of the administrative duties. A successful candidate should be able to communicate with various stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner, prioritize workload as needed and handle multiple-tasks with short deadlines. Experience in a compliance process considered as a major asset.

Mergers & Acquisition Compliance Specialist
Main responsibilities include:
  • Initial compliance process for all AMATS projects in UK and EMEA region, including timely review of files, adherence to procedures and reporting to senior members
  • Ongoing audit for proceedings related to Market Abuse Regulations for all insider projects run in UK
  • Conducting BCOI (Business Conflict of Interest) check for all due diligence projects in EMEA
  • Support for initiatives related to compliance process improvement, including testing of new tools, changes to process steps
  • Ability o understand the process from end to end and run training for other colleagues,
  • Acting as a point of contact/liaison with internal stakehokders on different level of seniority/from different part of business
  • Producing documents as requested, in line with corporate style, documents maintenance
  • Any ad hoc duties, requests and initiatives to ensure the proper workflow
  • Fluent English – at least C1 level (CEFR scale)
  • 1-2 years of previous administration and office experience in a professional, client orientated environment
  • Experience in compliace strongly desired
  • Personal effectiveness, good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to deal with stress and tight deadlines,
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Fully competent with MS Office and MS Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of team
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal and with all levels of seniority,
